This review is from: Diamondback 2012 Nitrus 20 BMX Bike (Red/Black, 20-Inch) (Sports) Ok, well I got this Nitrus and well as a over all, was not pleased with it. I thought I was going to get a great top end bike. Well the frame is great, cranks great and just the right size for an adult racer. Well my issues I had when i got it. The wheels were not tru. Had to have them trued. The bottom bracket/ ball bearing broke on first ride. Yes the crank and BB system was tight and just how it should be. After a few hours at the local track well it was shot. I pulled it all apart and found ball bearings all in my frame. So note to possible buyers: either get a DB viper X and upgrade parts. Or go for the reactor pro. If you still want the Nitrus then trust me you will have to do some work out of the box and after your firat ride or two. Oh and no Im not a fat boy who breaks bikes. Im only 170lbs. hope this helps you out. Over all I do love the bike not the stuff I had to deal with to make it ride able. Oh and I thought the tires are little large/wide and heavy too.
