We bought this bike for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and she loves it! It's the ultimate girly bike. It's easy to put together and durable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great bike for a great price.

We bought this for our 2 1/2 y.o. as all the other kids in our development have their own bikes. When her daddy assembled it, we thought at first it would have been too big a bike for her to handle. Boy, were we wrong! She jumped on her bike, and with a little coaching on how to move her legs/feet, she was riding around the compound like a pro, even maneuvering turns on her own ! We still had to help her a little on uneven patches and the slight inclines. The colours are lovely, girly and bright, and the tassels and included mini-packback are cute additions. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 main reasons: 1) There are no assembly tools included (allan keys, spanners etc), which we did not expect, so we had to borrow from a neighbour to finish the assembly. 2) I didn't focus on the fact that the handlebars were white (like the tyres and training wheels), these will get dirty in NO time. Other than that, we're happy so far with the purchase.

My 4-year old daughter, who had never used any bike except a tricycle, sat on this bike and began riding all around our drive way. It was a perfect inexpensive bike for her. Given that kids grow like weeds at this age, it was great to find a great affordable bike that we can use for 1-3 years. The smaller size made her more comforable and I would recommend going this route instead of buying a larger bike that she will "grow" into. My only complaint and the reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the seat should sit over the rear wheel more. She is so light that when going up inclines the rear wheel can sometimes spin on the pavement. But you won't find a better bike unless you are willing to spend 2-3x the price.
