I received this as a gift for my little one's 2nd birthday,...she's three now and still can't ride it. I confirm every detail about this bike that Amazon Addict wrote. I've unfortunately found all of the same problems with it. I would definitely recommend staying away from this bike. Thankfully it was a gift and we didn't waste our money on it. If you're in the market for a bike/trike for your little one, check out the Radio Flyers, they're made really well and have great reviews! Good luck! :o)

The first problem is the size. I have a three and a half year old a two year old. I got this for my 3 year old, but it is way too short for him (he is in the 75 percentile for height, so he is on the tall side, but not super tall). It would be an okay size for my 2 year old, BUT he can't pedal yet. Maybe other kids this size can pedal, but it seems to me that a kid who would fit on this bike will not be old enough to coordinate pedaling.
The pedals themselves are a problem. The pedals are on the front wheel, not under the seat like a real bike. This is a very awkward position to pedal in.
If all that were not enough, this bike does not hold together well. The seat and handlebars twist and turn all over the place, and the wheels fall off. We tightened them as much as we could, yet after just a few minutes of play, the bike was coming apart. And... Read more
