Learning Curve Heavy Duty 16" Bicycle Reviews
8 of 8 people found the following review helpful Very heavy duty, nice bike, February 21, 2008 By This review is from: Learning Curve Heavy Duty 16" Bicycle (Toy) I purchased this bike for my son's 4th birthday last year (2007). The construction is very heavy-duty and a year later it is still a good size for him. He is a little on the destructive side but this bike shows no evidence of that. It is still in great shape. I bought my daughter a bike from Wal-Mart and the John Deer bike is of much more solid construction. We are very pleased with the quality of this bike.

(Dallas, TX USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Learning Curve Heavy Duty 16" Bicycle (Toy) We looked around at a lot of bikes and settled on this one. It seemed to have the best ratings for the price range.
The bike arrived quickly and in good condition. The only problem was there were no instructions to be found, and we both searched everything and couldn't find it. We also looked online and found no online version anywhere. So, my hubby assembled it using solely his brain. He did a great job and got it all put together (I would not have been able to figure out certain parts of it, so I can't say it's THAT easy to put together without instructions).
When my son rode it, he was too short, so we bought extenders for the pedals, and that has fixed the problem. It's not the bike's fault it was too big. It says it's for four year old. Our son is the size of a three year old, even though he is four.
He loves his bike and it's fun watching him on it. It's very sturdy and well made. I see that one person had issues with the tire and... Read more
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful 2 tries..Not welded straight!, March 15, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Learning Curve Heavy Duty 16" Bicycle (Toy) My husband and I ordered this bike for our turning 4 son. After my husband assembled it we realized that the handlebars wouldn't align with the tires. The handlebars were crooked horizontaly on the frame as well as the frame itself. We exchanged it for a 2nd one. After assembling, the front tire now sat sideways on the frame. Once again, there was an incorrect alignment when the frame was welded together. We ended up going to a local store and finding a bike that had the same heavy duty frame but was constructed properly and 1/4 the cost. We also didn't have to assemble a 3rd bike.
