I was a believer in the Schwinn and had read that this was the best model for my child. I was quite frustrated to receive a torn-up box. When I went to assemble the bike, I found a scraped frame and broken pieces in the box. Some pieces must have fallen out of the torn holes. The directions were USELESS because they were very general and not for this bike model--just a bike in general. I couldn't figure out why the front wheel would not go into the fork, only to learn later the the welds on the fork were askew and so the wheel would not go into place. Too bad on you, Schwinn and Pacific Cycle. Kid didn't get a bike until I found a used one on Craigslist. You are better off paying a few bucks more at a store where you get to inspect the bike before buying it!
